BLOOMINGTON, MN- Mike Brown, a freshman and "Matrix" fan at Bloomington Public High School has something to wait for next fall: His new English teacher is Greg Anderson. "Oh, wow! This is gonna be so cool! I'll walk up to him, and I'll be like 'Missssterrr Anderson ... surprised, to see me?'. It'll just be awesome! A dream come true," said Mike Brown. He first became a "Matrix" fan after seeing the first film at the local cinema in 1999. Ever since then, he's been hooked. After purchasing it on DVD, he proceeded to watch it 200 times over the next year. The two sequels ("The Matrix Reloaded" and "The Matrix Revolutions") only added to his adulation. Still, nothing excited Mike Brown as much as finally receiving a Mr. Anderson for a teacher. "I've been trying for 4 years to get a 'Mr. Anderson' for a teacher, but I've been unlucky. Ralph Anderson was the swimming coach two years ago, and, despite my inability to swim, I tried out," explained Mike Brown. "However, he dropped me on the first day. But now that our school has hired this Greg Anderson guy as an English teacher... WOW! It's just too cool!!! It's a dream come true!!!" Brown also added that he was "thinking about wearing a suit and sunglasses on the first day of classes." Greg Anderson could not be reached for comment. |
